Worth knowing
- Full control only works if your child is on Android or a Chromebook. On an iPhone, Apple's built-in Screen Time does the same job.
- The tool is control, not parenting: limits work best when your child knows they exist and knows why. Set them up together, not behind their back.
My assessment
If your child carries an Android phone, this is the obvious starting point: free, tidy and plenty for most families. Just remember what the app does and doesn't do. It enforces the limits; the conversation about why they exist is still yours.
